Spring cleaning mode

I took out some boxes with old textbooks, school books and such. Some from as far as primary school, and some from uni.
I was surprised to see the older books, because I thought I got rid of them already, but my heart swelled with happiness - those were extremely good times! I had a wonderful handwriting style :) I was so proud of my work, I took great care to maintain my books well. I look at them, and then around my flat - if I were to keep them - where can I put them? tough question. I was meant to keep a few chosen ones from uni to revise some of the material I've studied, to help me work with my students better. But now that I see all these books, I want to keep them - but then I feel like a hamster, collecting everything, because it might come in handy one day.... or just bring back some heart-warming memories of good times....
I wonder how many fellow-GHS (Germistion High School |South Africa|) students have kept their books? Well, I'm not going to go out there and ask everyone on facebook just because I'm having a difficult time making a decision. It is hard. Maybe I'll just slide them under the bed for a few more days, and decide later....

Anyway, this is a good time to thank for those memories :) Thank you, thank you, thank you. Maybe at the time, it wasn't all good, but now when I look back, I remember the neat uniforms, respected teachers, books, lessons learnt, other pupils, sports facilities available to us, and my own personal development all through my school career! I wish schools were like that in Poland! I was proud of my work, I left trophies with my name on them, I was always positively-motivated to give my best, and persevere to succeed!
