Rain...

After a relatively long break, I decided that this blog will go on without a schedule, I will just keep on writing my Thank you's as they come, it's so much better that way... at least I think so.

So today, something simple... Thank you for.... RAIN

- I love the sound, the fresh air, the fact that I can watch nature change because of rain... :)

I'm sitting in my room now, enjoying the evening, with my window open - breathing in deeply, aaaah. I have an inspiring stack of books right next to me on my desk, and I can't wait to get through them...
Recently I was listening to a lot of people moaning about the weather... winter - they kept on saying... "when's the sun going to come out".... April - "the Sun's not shining bright enough", a few days in May - "it's soo hot, I can't take it anymore"  - Today - "oh, and now it's raining, perfect, and it's the weekend", the world is turning it's back on me.... moAanErs, MoaaNerS....

... but I'm thankful for all these people as well, sometimes I do give out a moan myself - nevertheless, I try to pick those thoughts out and throw them out the window... it's time to smile. all's good! :)

I love falling asleep listening to the rain :)

  1. Now that we've moved to our cottage, we miss the sound of rain hitting our metal roof of the mobile home. That was so soothing to us.

  2. Rain is a blessing.......I am fed up sometimes with it as in Ireland it's on very often. But I know I would miss it strongly if I was living in another country.

  3. I'm no fan of rains, so it's always kind of good to hera that someone can appreciate them!

  4. I love the sound of rain, to the point that I fight putting the AC on in the summer because I want to keep the windows open.

But I'm going to admit when I was sitting through my third back to back grandkid lacrosse game yesterday in the rain (lacrosse only cancels for lightning) I was less than thankful.
